Okay - so you may have noticed that I have been very MIA on this blog lately. So sorry. I've decided I'm really over the whole blog thing. I just don't have the time to dedicate to it. It's like a naughty puppy. It's cute at first, and you think it will be fun. Then you realize that it's just a big hairy mess... and you're always cleaning up after it. lol Maybe not that bad, but I really don't like the blog. Especially because at times when I'm the busiest, it looks like I'm not doing anything at all... because I'm not telling any one about it. Anyway ... this brings me to the first piece of exciting news I'd like to share. I have a WEBSITE!! Hooray. It should be live in the next day or two. It has definitely taken a lot of time to put together, but I'm hoping that it will be very useful for clients. Anyway - I'm keeping the blog, but I'll be making some changes, and likely won't be on here as much I as used to. I'll post a link when the website is up & running.
Second piece of news is that I'm (and by I'm, I mean my husband) is currently building a studio in my basement!! Another Hooray!! I wish that it was done 2 weeks ago, when I started having the re-arrange for this crazy Utah weather, but it should only be a few more weeks. I really can't wait. I'm going crazy buying furniture, lighting & props. SO FUN!! And I'll be offering a discount to the first clients to come by & check it out. Should be exciting... so stick around for pictures & more info.
Last of course is that I'm hosting that fun holiday boutique at my home next Friday, November 27th from 3:00 - 7:00. It's going to be really fun & we're going to have great vendors. There will even be a raffle drawing with amazing prizes from each of the companies. I'm going to have gift certificates there that make great gifts or can be used for you! And I'll be offering a discount if you buy them that day. So I hope to see you all there!! I'll post more info about it next week with directions & such.
Okay - now back to work & to unbury myself from the stacks of cds, christmas cards & prints. lol I do have a couple pictures to leave you with. I shot these while taking a break from my website designing & photo editing. These are gallery wraps I had done of my boys. I've been using these things for display at some recent events & I wanted to share them with you. I love canvas prints & I love not having to find frames. So I think that gallery wraps are the perfect option!! These are 11x14. I want to hang them upstairs but I also need some for display in my studio. I may have to order more!! ;) (NOTE: they look a little faded here, it's just the lovely lighting in my front entry. they look fabulous in real life)
And I printed this next one to use at a boutique, but now I'm thinking how great it would be in the studio
as well. Or in my house. Love these guys... This is a 16x20 with a canvas texture, mounted on 1/4" foamboard.
Also a good option if you don't like to frame, or just want something different. You can also use a ribbon &
hang it, darling for kids rooms & nurseries. I might even print some for my room too (if I ever get around to
decorating it)!!
What a busy, crazy past few weeks it's been. It's sad when I realize that I think I see the UPS guy WAY more than any of my friends
right now. My neighbors must think I'm the crazy online shop-aholic. I wonder if my husband will start getting anonymous tips. (UPS
delivers all my prints - so we see each other at least daily right now, in case any one is wondering why we hang out!!) lol Thanks
